London, UK – Oct 27th, 2022 – MYCOM OSI, a leader in Network Assurance and Experience Assurance for Communications Service Providers (CSPs), has been named as a finalist in the Automation Initiative of the Year category of the 2022 Global Telecoms Awards (Glotel Awards) run by Telecoms.com (www.telecoms.com). The Glotel Awards are Europe’s leading awards program, recognizing innovation and excellence from the companies involved in advancing and transforming today’s telecoms industry. This year’s program featured 23 categories, including Best Vendor 5G Innovation, BSS/OSS transformation excellence and Climate Action Excellence, among others.
MYCOM OSI’s Award submission focused on an Asian CSP with 80 million subscribers who wanted to automate the assurance of its business-critical services (mobile data, broadband and enterprise). MYCOM OSI offered Experience Assurance and Automation Solutions comprising service quality management and analysis, automation algorithms, AIOps and an enterprise portal, operating on cloud. The outcome was proactive service quality analysis and customer impact analysis, with automated operations, which included automatic notification of performance degradation, automated trouble ticketing, automated dispatch to expert groups and automated remediation. The operator automated 100% of the trouble ticketing process. The MTTR per ticket reduced by about 30 minutes and 28K man hours were automated per year, thus reducing MTTx by 80%.
