OSS Service Assurance Leaders Combine Performance and Fault Management to Deliver
Integrated Service and Network Assurance for Communications Service Providers
TM Forum Live!, Nice, France – 3rd June 2014 – MYCOM software business, the leading independent provider of carrier-grade Service and Network Performance solutions, today announced that it has acquired OSI, a leading Fault Management and Service Impact provider, to extend and enhance its market leading Service Assurance product portfolio for Communications Service Providers (CSPs). MYCOM is backed by Clearlake Capital Group, a private investment firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition brings together two well established businesses in adjacent sectors of the Telecom OSS Service Assurance market: MYCOM provides end-to-end multi-domain service and network performance management with its award-winning NIMS-PrOptima™ platform, and OSI provides umbrella fault and service impact management with its market-leading NetExpert™ platform.
