MYCOM OSI’s AInsights application was selected for its Forecasting and Anomaly Detection use case for prediction of International Roaming Service anomalies using its PMU (Predictive Monitoring Unit) function. A Tier 1 Asian Communications Service Provider (CSP) manages a significant volume of outbound roamers travelling to about 250 CSP networks worldwide, contributing substantially to year-round revenues. The CSP required a monitoring system that could predict potential issues in foreign networks for its outbound roamers using mobile broadband, VoLTE, and IP services. These issues could be related to network accessibility or anomalies, allowing the CSP to proactively ensure service quality for its outbound roamers across partner networks, especially during long holiday periods.
