New Solutions to support evolution of Autonomous Network Level 3 and 4
Key automation enhancements have been made to MYCOM OSI’s Fixed Broadband (FTTx – Premise/Curb/Home) Assurance Solution for Home and Enterprise broadband service operations. The automation enhancements support evolution of CSP Autonomous Network (AN) level 3 (Conditional Autonomous Network) and level 4 ( Highly Autonomous Network) by following TMF IG1326 recommendations:
- Automated Customer Notification: Enabling automated customer notifications to reduce customer complaints.
- Workflow Automation: Improving NOC/SOC operational efficiencies through workflow automation for Transport networks and IP routers. Workflow automation to analyze the impact of NFVI performance degradation on VNFs by triggering predefined health-checks using 3rd party integration (Ansible).
- Automating NOC/SOC towards AN level 3: Automating fixed and enterprise NOC/SOC operations including infra related issues (Battery backup, Power failure, MTP Link, MUT_LOS, R_LOS, Link Congestion etc.) to attain AN Level 3. This includes automating the detection and RCA of degraded paths, for uplink in FTTx, by utilizing E2E topology from OLT to Data Center.
- Automating Remediation towards AN level 4: Cross-domain automated remediation of FTTx network and service problems without any human intervention to achieve AN Level 4.
AutoExpert application framework to drive Workflow and Operational Automation for CSPs
Part of MYCOM OSI’s EAA Service Assurance portfolio, the AutoExpert application framework, operated on Amazon Web Services (AWS), private cloud or on-prem, enables CSPs to benefit from the automation capabilities of MYCOM OSI’s Service Assurance applications. The EAA AutoExpert application framework combines a set of capabilities, such as workflow automation, Trouble Ticket automation and interactive bi-directional communication between the network entities and AutoExpert, to support automated diagnosis and remediation.
5G Assurance Solution Enhancements
- Integration of MYCOM OSI’s Assurance 5G Solution with CSP’s Change Management system for automating 5G NOC/SOC , improving the assessment of 5G RAN configuration changes (as part of planned activity) and reverting the changes based on the measured performance gains. The Solution is also valid for 4G networks.
- Prioritising RAN troubleshooting based on socially or commercially active hotspots.
- Monitoring of network applications hosted on multi-vendor, multi-domain virtualized environments, using multi-layer correlations between VNFs/application, VIM and the underlying infra.
New capabilities in AInsights
Prediction and Detection of issues in APNs and Network Slices
This new AInsights capability predicts and detects potential issues in Access Point Names (APNs) and network slices, enabling CSPs to proactively address problems before they impact services. The capability uses advanced analytics to foresee anomalies and service degradations, ensuring a seamless user experience across services. Key features include:
- Predictive analytics to identify emerging issues within APNs and network slices.
- Automated prioritization of maintenance tasks based on the potential impact on services.
- Seamless integration with existing network operations for streamlined issue resolution.
Predictive RAN Monitoring
AInsights now offers a Predictive RAN Monitoring capability aimed at predicting and detecting Radio Access Network (RAN) issues. This solution prioritizes detected issues based on severity and scope, ranging from individual cell-level problems to city-wide disruptions. Key features include:
- AI-driven monitoring to early detect potential RAN issues and assess their impact on network performance.
- Automatic prioritization based on the severity and extent of detected issues, from local to regional levels.
- Integration with operational workflows to facilitate faster response and resolution times.
Observability and Predictive Maintenance Solution on AWS Marketplace
MYCOM OSI’s Observability and Predictive Maintenance Solution enables small/midsize (1-5 million subscribers) CSPs to rapidly move from reactive to predictive maintenance using accurate capacity/coverage forecasts and network anomaly detection to deliver high performances at low budgets. As CSPs roll out the latest IP/mobile/ fixed/enterprise/ IT Datacenter services, the Observability and Predictive Maintenance Solution is an essential capability for CSPs to deliver high network performance leveraging predictive AI based insights. Offered on-demand from the cloud, pre-integrated with most network deployments the solution bundles MYCOM OSI’s AInsights application with PM (Performance Management) application PrOptima.
