MYCOM OSI Launches Edge Support for the Assurance Cloud Service™

Supports fully managed edge assurance SaaS for enhanced use cases and complex regulatory scenarios

LONDON, UK – December 17th, 2020 – MYCOM OSI, the Assurance Cloud Company™ and leading independent provider of Assurance, Automation and Analytics solutions to the world’s largest Communications Service Providers (CSPs), today announced the launch of its Assurance Cloud Service™ Edge (ACS Edge). The ACS Edge, an extension to the ACS, is a Software-as-a-Service assurance capability specifically designed and architected for CSPs that need to observe very exacting regulatory obligations for data sovereignty and for use cases that involve very low latency data collection and analytics processing.

The ACS Edge extends the full functionality of the ACS SaaS offering to on-premises locations, with all hardware, software and maintenance provided as a managed service. This helps CSPs to significantly reduce upfront investment in procuring and commissioning equipment, as well as reduce the costs of ongoing maintenance, management and operations. It does this while enabling support for the assurance of low latency connectivity services by bringing the assurance instance much closer to the network itself. It also allows for the alignment to regional regulatory requirements by retaining data residency on-premises.

The announcement comes shortly after MYCOM OSI completed its AWS Outposts Service Ready certification, in readiness to deliver AWS Outposts devices and the ACS Edge to any supported on-premise location.
