Enables rapid adoption of the Assurance Cloud Service™ by customers currently using On-Premises Deployments
LONDON, UK – February 17th, 2021 – MYCOM OSI, the Assurance Cloud Company™ and leading independent provider of Assurance, Automation and Analytics solutions to the world’s largest Communications Service Providers (CSPs), today announced the launch of its Cloud Migration Program with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Among a small group of software vendors admitted to the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program (WMP); the MYCOM OSI Cloud Migration Program is made possible by its highly mature Assurance Cloud Service™, which today supports the mission-critical assurance requirements of such Tier-1 operators as Globe Telecom, Three UK, Magenta and several others.
The Cloud Migration Program is a structured service blueprint providing a comprehensive package of services that delivers the successful delivery of the full Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Assurance Cloud Service™ for operators with MYCOM OSI’s Experience Assurance & Analytics™ (EAA) applications deployed today on-premises. The Cloud Migration Program services, supported by experts from AWS, include:
- A business case assessment and estimation of savings from reduced maintenance and operations OpEx
- A consultative business and system design service, identifying the additional use cases that the Assurance Cloud Service™ can enable, along with an indication of business benefits
- A localized migration plan for full business continuity, which includes business mobilization in addition to system mobilization activities provided by MYCOM OSI on AWS
- A commercial migration plan that leverages particular privileges of MYCOM OSI’s status as an AWS ISV Partner and AWS WMP Partner to enable the migration to a competitive SaaS commercial arrangement.
The Cloud Migration Program is open to all existing customers of MYCOM OSI, effective immediately. It includes those customers that intend to achieve the agility and commercial efficiencies of SaaS while continuing operating assurance workloads on-premises and at network edge locations, with MYCOM OSI being one of the first service assurance vendors to have achieved AWS Outposts Ready status.
