London, UK – 10 November 2011 – MYCOM today announced the release of the latest version of its leading Service Assurance platform. NIMS-PrOptima software release v3.03 reaches new levels of performance, scalability & functional capability, leveraging new technology domains and business process coverage opportunities to maximize Service Providers’ investment.
The new release offers improved levels of mediation engine performances and scalability, allowing
increased import speed and volumes on both performance and configuration data as a pre-requisite to technology domains expansion such as LTE, IMS, VAS, MetroEthernet and more, in line with MYCOM’s new Off-The-Shelf Vendor technology Interface Catalog.
Under the Converged NIMS-PrOptima for IP Networks, the v3.03 software release offers a true
carrier-grade SNMP mediation providing scalable and efficient support of large number of IP devices which, combined with an increased support of IP device models (SNMP Bundles and Libraries) and IP Technology Analysis Packs, allow the management of broadband, MPLS core and VAS/IT domains.
NIMS-PrOptima v3.03 has significant additional capabilities. It allows the Performance Management platform to be fully integrated with operators’ business processes (new alarm synchronization capability for Fault Management integration) and information system eco-system (integration to Web Map Services for GIS maps), on top of increasing operational efficiency (better presentation and KPI processing logic). These new capabilities go one step further in helping reducing operator’s OPEX costs while further automating their business processes.
